So Hikers Malaysia organises hiking trips across Malaysia, including popular trails around Klang Valley, Selangor, and beyond. We explore hidden trails and well-known mountains throughout Malaysia.

Yes! So Hikers Malaysia welcomes hikers of all levels. We organise trips ranging from beginner-friendly trails to more challenging hikes, so there is something for everyone.

No experience is required for our beginner-friendly trips. You mainly need shoes with good grip, enough water, and a small backpack. Each trip page lists the difficulty level and what to bring, so you know exactly what to prepare before you sign up.

The fee depends on the trip. Some community hikes are free, while guided trips that include transport, permits, or a local guide are paid. The exact fee is always shown on the trip page before you register, so there are no surprises.

After you register, an organiser reviews and confirms your place. Once confirmed you receive a digital ticket with a QR code, which is scanned at the meeting point on the day of the hike. You can also check your status any time on the trip page.

Most hikes start early in the morning, often before sunrise, so we finish before the midday heat. The exact meeting time and meeting point are listed on each trip page and in your confirmation ticket.

So Hikers Malaysia is a hiking community founded in 2018, run by a team of volunteer organisers and trip leaders. We have worked with over 40 brand partners and host regular hikes across Malaysia.
